The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is SRD to reach-out into a website higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point produced for intervention encounters a substantial influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all sassa status check people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
